Voleon Capital Management LP's AUM grew 18% to $3.9B

Voleon Capital Management LP is an investment advisory firm that was founded in 2008 by Michael Kharitonov and Jon McAuliffe. The firm is a Delaware limited partnership, with Mr. Kharitonov owning over 25% of the total capital.

Voleon provides advisory services on a discretionary basis to its clients, which are all pooled investment vehicles, specifically private investment funds. The firm manages multiple Funds, which invest in various asset classes and financial instruments based on the investment objectives and strategies described in the Funds' offering memoranda and governing documents. 

Between March 2022 and June 2023, Voleon Capital Management LP underwent several significant changes as per their Form ADV filings. Employee numbers grew slightly from 62 to 65, which could hint at increased operations or personnel needs. In addition, the total Assets Under Management (AUM) saw a rise from $3.34 billion to about $3.95 billion, a 18.05% increase.

There have been significant changes in the roster of direct owners at Voleon Capital Management LP. George Percy Chang, who previously held the positions of General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, has been removed from his roles. Meanwhile, Faye McGrath and Steven Earl Schraibman have been appointed as the new Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel, respectively.
