What Is Form ADV?

February 21, 2023

Form ADV is an annual disclosure document filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) by investment advisers. It provides information about the adviser's services, fees, conflicts of interest, disciplinary history, financial condition, and other important facts about the business. It helps investors make informed decisions when selecting a financial advisor or money manager.

Users can access all Form ADVs going back to 2013 via RADiENT. RADiENT also has an Advanced Search feature that allows users to search for advisers by filtering for select fields on the Form ADV. Eg; filtering for advisers by AUM managed, a number of clients, service providers, and industry affiliations, etc.
