Developer
We are looking for a talented developer to join our experienced development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, modifying, and implementing new or existing software products. Your duties will include liaising with the development managers, writing clean, scalable code, creating testing protocols, fixing bugs, and deploying programs.
To ensure success as a developer, you should have advanced knowledge of programming languages, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work to a deadline. A top-class developer works together with the development team to create high-level programs that perfectly meet the needs of the company.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining backend services (API development, database design & development).
- Developing and maintaining different features on the frontend application
- Setting up and maintaining infrastructure on AWS
Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Systems, Engineering, or similar
- Software architecture
- Unit & end-to-end testing
- Python (+ Familiarity with Django, pandas or similar)
- ES6 (+ Familiarity with AngularJS, VueJS or similar)
- PostgreSQL (Database design concepts, query optimization skills)
- AWS (basic concepts of networking, IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, Cloudformation)
- Any experience with data analysis (e.g. in Python) is an advantage
- Navigating & understanding legacy code
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Startup experience and an interest in finance is a plus
